- Understand the impact that blank or spoiled ballots can have depending on the electoral system
- Think about our own opinions on the issue of spoiling our ballot
Description
Over the course of this activity, participants will learn about the issue of spoiled ballots or 'blank' ballots, by studying different scenarios for counting them. After this case study, participants will be asked to give their personal opinion on spoiling ballots, both by grouping themselves together in areas of the room, and by explaining aloud.
